Under settings, there will be an option for "Network Connections or Settings" - I can't remember as I'm at work at the moment and can't check.

Under that option, you can search for wireless connections in range. If you don't have a wireless network, then you need to run an Ethernet cable from your router to the PS3 and then it should pick it up automatically.
