laser burns on disc....

took my game to gamestation to try and get scratches removed and the guy there said the disc had been ''burnt'' by the laser in my x box 360 elite,now this is a new machine still under a 3 year guarantee.....should i take it back and get a new x box????...the machine has NOT been moved whilst in play either.....tia....

You can try, but the laser won't burn a disc unless it gets moved during play. Has someone nudged the console at all, it doesn't need to be picked up and moved

If it's only one game, then you'll probably have to live with it, but if it's doing it to more than one disc then take it back

thanks cakeboy i guess it must have been nudged in gameplay but i certainly cant think that it has...oh well i guess i will have to buy the game again....thanx again...

If it's an EA game then they will replace damaged media for �10 - see the back of the manual for the address and suchlike
