xbox 360 elite - wirless?

I bought an xbox 360 elite at xmas but haven't relly had a good look at it yet as we've been too busy on the wii. Looking at the pre order charts there are some games that take my fancy that could be played online.

What i am wanting to no is, does the 360 elite come with wireless already enabled, or do i need to buy one of those wireless adapters?

You'll need the dongle still, but if you can, play it wired as it seems to prefer that.

Plus an Ethernet cable is cheaper than the wireless dongle

Yes the ethernet canle is cheaper but if your in my shoes i cannot get my ethernet cable to reach my computer modem so if your in the same shoes then its a lot eaiser to buy the wirless modem thing for the back of you 360.

The cheapest place I found for the wireless adaptor was Amazon,they were charging �52 at Christmas,everywhere else wanted over �60.
You do know that there is a fee for some of the games you play on XBOX live don't you? for example Final Fantasy XI is something like �8.99 per month on top of the XBOX live subscription fee.
