It should have come with the game when you bought it. If it isn't there, take it back to the shop and ask for a refund.

the game belonged to my sister and she's given it to me but without the instructions as i know the code is on the back of them.

If your sister registered the game with EA when she installed it on her PC she will have given her code to them.Tell her to contact EA using the sign in details she registered with and they should give her the code.
