Hi

I'm trying to connect my PS3 to the internet.
My current internet is not wireless - its a USB cable that goes from my phone socket and plugs into a USB modem (supplied by my provider) which itself has a cable that plugs into a USB slot in my PC.

With the PS3 I got an enthernet cable and dont really know what one is

simple mate! use the ethernet cable.

it goes into the back of your ps3...then into your modem. the one supplied with your ps3 might be a bit short though...mine is...i had to go pc world to go and buy a longer one! but it works no probs.
