Is Mdina glass valuable?

I have a piece of glassware that appears to be a vase. It has two labels on, with the Maltese Cross, both saying Mdina, and the word Mdina etched on the base. It is a nice piece of glassware, a brown dimpled vase with coloured swirls inside. My wife says it's valuable. I say it's just a nice ornament. Could someone tell me that I'm right, so that I can tell Mrs ClarionSt to stop getting carried away?
I hope this is the right section for this! Thanks.

You're right Clarion. I have a couple of pieces that I've bought on holiday in Malta. Every tourist shop there is filled with it as well as at the craft village. It is nice though and hope my relatives aren't reading this as I've brought some back in gifts.
