I am thinking of buying a psp each for my kids for christmas. I have tried argos and toysrus website and both are sold out of the new version. I can get hold of the older one - is there much difference of is it like the ds lite?
I dont want to spend best part of �300 on the wrong thing - HELP!!!

Wait for the new one to be back in stock.

There are minor differences at the moment, but who knows. There is already 1 peripheral in the pipeline that will not work on older models so it could be more.

You could try www.play.com. The last time I checked they had them in stock for �129.00. I will eventually upgrade to a PSP lite as it does seem like a better console but I don't think there is a great difference.
