Hi I have a list of cheats for various strategy games, Cossacks, Preatorians etc, but don't know how to access them and it's driving me nuts! What do I type in or which buttons do I use to type in these codes/cheats? Please help

Which type of machine are these cheats for ?
PC ,PS2, Xbox, Wii or something a bit older?
Most cheats usually start by saying 'pause the game' or 'enter this on the highscore or menu screen'
