This game originally came out on the Amiga in 1991. I used to spend nearly 2 hours getting to the final boss (With no game save or continues; I think this is the one you are talking about) I never managed to beat him and gave up trying in the end. Sorry its not a positive answer!

Same here. I had (and still do) the Amiga version. I never managed to beat the final boss either.

I seem to remember right at the beginning of the game there are some objects that if collected in the right order the initials spelt out C.H.E.A.T.

Hooray!!!!! I killed the final Boss. Big let down though on the end scene.
