The wireless controller states that it must be used with alkaline batteries. Any reason why we shouldn't use rechargeable Ni-MH batteries to save the cost of disposables or cost of the rechargeable Xbox battery?
They only recommend Alkaline batteries because it is a little more difficult to get rechargeables out of the controller housing due to the thicker skin around the batteries.
I use Rechargables all the time and have never had any problems.
