Morning all, the Juddmonte/Ebor meeting is here again. We are just about 3/4 of the way through year already....scary. Have done the ITV7 and a bit of an e/w acca and e/w 6 timers on it. The first 3 of the following are in the ITV7.

Justanotherbottle @6/1 1.55Y
Valdermoro @5/1 2.25Y
Elarqam @10/1 3.35Y
Charles Kingsley @7/1 4.15Y

£1.00 E/W Acca. 25p E/W Doubles & Trebles. Fancy Troubadour in the last race as well.

For the ITV7 add in. Aweemaweh 2.15 Bath, Ainsdale 2.35 Carlisle, El Picador 2.50 Bath & Logician 3.00 York. Good luck if you have a punt. Looks like a good plan today up here......the ruddy rain is back.

Just noticed Ken. Summer Sands is holding an entry in the 3.00 on Friday. Remember it? Fahey's horse that looked half handy up at Beverly. Will keep that in mind methinks.
I did have a punt, Togo, but no luck whatsoever. Unless you count bad luck:-(( Currently decorating an accountant's office and they don't open 'til 10 am so i did have time to do a bit of studying. I'll definitely put my selections up tomorrow just to give everyone a laugh :-).

Glad you posted Ken. I wondered whether you had a crisis on your hands or that you were not well. No cigar here either. Two winners and a couple of places is all. Outgoings exceeded incomings so I will have to be a little Micawberish tomorrow. Did you note the fact that Summer Sands runs Friday in the Gimcrack? Currently 10/1.
I did and i will be having a good look at it come the day. Got to get through tomorrow's racing first:-) As i said earlier, decorating an accountant's office and what do i see running tonight but The Accountant in the 7.00 Worcester. So, being the total mug that i am, i threw £3.48p at it..........................and it won @ 10/1 :-) :-)
Done the ITV7 and these 4 from York;

2.25; Sword Beach @ 20/1
3.00; Baltic Baron @ 8/1
4.15; Vivionn @ 5/1
4.50; Agincourt @ 12/1

Win/e.w. singles, 20p L15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £82, 4 winners = £13,514.
ITV7; L Beach, P Bounty, R Romance, S Beach, B Pursuit, B Baron and Enable. £1 e.w. acca.

Best of luck, Togo, and any other punters :-)

Morning Ken missed you post earlier getting myself tidied up. Few errands early doors then get back for the off. Like you I have done the ITV7 and my usual punt. Taken extra place* where available at reduced odds.

Under The Stars @9/2 1.55 York
Madeleine Bond @9/2 2.15 Chepstow
St Ives* @10/1 2.25 York
Qaysar* @17/2 3.00 York

£1.00 E/W Acca. 30p Doubles & Trebles.

ITV7 With those 4 add in Included 2.05 Stratford, Bounty Pursuit 2.50 Chepstow & Enable in the 3.35 York. I have left Enable out of the ITV7 Acca and just done the 6 timer and 5 timers. Not putting a nice win at risk for a horse priced as short as 1/4 on. Would have a heart attack watching that if I had the first 6 in. Haha.

What a scorching performance from Mums Tipple. Hope all you Mums were on it.
Haha, just love this racing game. Had all the luck last night with The Accountant but none today. Have a daughter called Claire and a grandson called Charlie, so did Charlie Arthur to win and a rev f/c with So Claire in the first at Chepstow. Both unplaced in a race won by.........................Set Point Charlie @ 16/1. And i've just watched my £5 win on Agincourt just get touched off by a 66/1 outsider. Thank heavens for evening racing :-)

Haha Ken. Drive you mad if you were that way inclined. Tomorrow looks easy. ;)) I notice that our friend Koukash has a couple of runners going in the first two races. He needs watching. We know how he likes a winner.......especially one that is "unexpected".
Too many short priced favs included in today's ITV7 so i've not bothered. Instead, i've done a couple of e.w. singles along with my normal bet; would kick myself if Summer Sands does the biz and i'm not on and hoping that some of the principles in the 3.35 overdo it by taking each other on early and that course specialist Copper Knight can nab a place.

1.55 York; Jazeel @ 7/1
2.50 FL; Bernardo O'Reilly @ 9/1
3.00 York; Repartee @ 11/1
4.50 York; Irv @ 8/1

Win singles, 20p L15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £63, 4 winners = £9,657.
3.00 York; £1 e.w. Summer Sands @ 16/1
3.35 York; £1 e.w. Copper Knight @ 50/1 (4/9 over CD)

Also York placepot; 8-1-10-8-5-15

Best of luck with your selections, Togo.

I know what you say Ken, but I have done the ITV7 regardless. Not the best days racing for the fun punter so minimum stakes and hope to find a bit of E/W. Out early again this morning then back for the off and perhaps enjoy a bit of the sunshine we are due. Will be having a little look later at the Koukash runners and watch for any market moves, and, like yourself, a little single on Summer Sands no doubt. Good luck .

Corelli @11/2 1.55 York
Tomouth @ 9/2 2.05 Newmarket
Summer Sands @16/1 3.00 York
Fox Duty Free @4/1 4.15 York.

£1.00 E/W Acca. 30p Doubles & Trebles.

ITV7. The first 3 of the above with Stradivarius 2.25 York, Alnaseem 2.40 Newmarket, Royal Crusade 3.15 Newmarket, & Battaash 3.35 York. Little e/w acca on the 7.

Question Author
Ah well, no cigar from my selection box today. Couple of winners in the ITV7, but I did put £3 on Pogo in the last(for obvious reasons) therein playing my get out of jail card at 14/1. £45 back into the slush fund.
What a performance from Battaash Today. Broke the course record for 5 furlongs. Impressive.

Morning punters, beautiful morning up here. A bit late this morning. Out early tidying up the back before it is too hot so that we can sit out back and ignore the traffic mayhem. Feeling confident today after my narrow squeak with penury yesterday . Have done the ITV7 and the little e/w accas on the 7,6 &5 timers. Also done the following in my usual tv bet. Wiill be doing Raymond Tusk in the Ebor but have left it out of my main punt, with an option of adding it in if it all goes pear shaped.

Eminence @6/1 2.05 York
Alpinasta @5/1 2.40 Goodwood
Posted @9/2 2.45 Newmarket
Sir Dancealot @8/1 3.00 York

£1.00E/W Acca. 30p Doubles & Trebles.

ITV7 add in Zaaki 1.50 York, Beat Le Bon, 2.05 Goodwood, & Raymond Tusk 3.40 York. Good Luck if you have a flutter.
Afternoon Togo. Same as you today in that i'm a tad late posting due to visitors. No sense of occasion. Thought i'd brought them up to realise dad does not wish to be disturbed on Sat mornings:-/
After Ascot, i believe York is Frankie's favourite course and he rides 4 for John Gosden today - 3 favs and the other is not without a chance. So i've lumped them in a 20p L15, £1 e.w. acca (no win singles or anything) for a poss return of just under £400. All of which means that i'm backing against myself in one or two races - something i only do once every Preston Guild.

2.25 Y; Land Of Oz @ 9/1
3.15 G; Salute The Soldier @ 6/1
3.40 Y; Baghdad @ 11/1
5.20 Y; Wedding Date @ 16/1

Win/e.w. singles, 20p L15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = poss return of £134, 4 winners = poss return of £16,391.
ITV7; Wissahickon, Duke Of Hazard, First In Line, Boomer*, Moraawed*, Laurens* & Baghdad. £1 e.w. acca.
* denotes Trixie/Treble.

Good luck
Also done a couple of rev f/cs on the two races where i've backed against myself.
Forgot to mention earlier, Togo, look out for a racehorse named Breathalyze. It's owned by a syndicate of Burnley players and is trained by Tom Dascombe. It has had just 2 runs, a 3/9 @ 9/2 at Donny then a 4l win @ 13/8 at Chester, both over 7f. The reason it could be of relevance to you is that one of the syndicate members is Sam Vokes. May be worth keeping an eye out for it.
Question Author
Will look for that in future Ken. I think that one of my brothers had that in a bet a little while back.
Question Author
Despite having 2 winners I have nothing back. In the last 4 races at York I am going Raymond Tusk, Mighty Spirit, Poets Dawn, & Amplify. That'll teach em.
Question Author
Unbelievable. Only Spenser could get "boxed" in riding a horse over nigh on a mile and three quarters. Poor riding. I should think Hannon is pulling his hair out and the owners will not want him aboard again.
