I was thrilled to be given this but stunned to find it appears only one person can play at any one time ie you can't save a game and someone else start theirs. It also seems that if someone wants to play once I've finished then all my game data will be lost. Is this true? I've played all the other R&C games and could always have at least 4 players on the go and all games were saved.

Triggs it's on PS3 and no it was a paid for boxed game from Amazon. It is shorter than others in the series but I've seen on other forums now that only one can player can play at once. There is no save option - just continue. Strange.
