Surely you win together and you lose together so take the good and the bad?

Wolves fans were shown leaving early today and I was absolutely delighted when they scored two late goals to get a draw but the best ever has to be Newcastle against Arsenal last season where they came back from 4-0 nil down to draw.

Because they're not real fans.

A bit like Man Utd 'fans' who aren't from Manchester...

I'll have you know I've been a Man Utd fan since 1977!

I don't see why you have to be local to a team to support them.
Seriously...???

Yup.
Wow!

When you live where I do with literally no big teams for at least 60 miles you start following a team simply because something about them speaks to you and then you're hooked for life.

Tons of footie fans at work and not one of them supports our local team.

Whatever.
'' Because they're not real fans.

........................Very true MarkRae but how many football clubs would like the support that Man Utd get from around the World with their winning history, most I would think!.....
Irrelevant. Man Utd "fans" who aren't from Manchester are pathetic glory chasers and not true football fans. You know it, I know it, they know it too...

Is it true though? I would suggest the fans that are leaving are local to the ground and not the ones who have travelled hundreds of miles for 90mins of football.
That's what happened with the Ibrox disaster - fans were leaving early, then there was a score so they turned and came back, to meet other people also leaving. In the melée, many were crushed.
Question Author
If they were glory chasers they would hop from club to club surely?

The team went over 20 years with no league glory.
I would agree however that many chose them in the early 90's as they began to rewrite the record books.
Your family must be so proud...
Question Author
...of what?
Exactly!
