Hi, My games will not run full screen on Vista, like they do on XP. The game is for Vista, but when i open it, it is smaller and it has a black border all around it. It is in full screen mode. Nothing I do will work. I have a laptop with a mobile Intel 965 express chipset graphics card, and my resolution is 1440 x900. The resolution is set to it's maximum, I have tried changing the resolution, but that just makes it smaller. My Husband's Comp is running XP with an NVidea graphics card, and games work fine on his.
Can anyoine help, as i'm finding it too difficult to play games, as I can't see the screen properly. It's driving me up the wall lol.

Generally speaking the resolution settings in the game should match the Windows display resolution.

Check this first, but you may have to lower the Windows resolution as well to 1024x768 and work back up.
Laptop graphics cards aren't generally as powerful as "full size" cards unless you have bought a dedicated gaming laptop.
