Pirates of the caribbean on PS2

In the legend of jack sparrow game, I'm stuck on the bit in the mine. The is a couple of track switches and a burning mine train. Which ever order I seem to move the swithches back and forth the train will not go through the wall. I've been stuck here since last christmas - Help!
