They say, "All good things come to an end" and this is my final week as "Crown Jools". I can't believe that it has gone by so quickly. Jim and I will be travelling home later on today after a week's break here in the Isle of Wight. To be on the safe side, I have asked crofter to carry out the launch of MM for me.

It's been a lovely break; nice and peaceful. While we've been here, I started thinking about all the places Jim and I have visited since we have known each other. We used to spend a lot of our holidays in Scotland when the children were young. We would tour around and find somewhere to picnic by a loch or burn and the children would love to spend their time walking, paddling and fishing. Other times, we would walk in the hills or visit family (Jim's Mother was from Bannockburn).

Of course, now the world is more accessible and we have family spread over the world: in Australia, Zimbabwe (not that I want to go there at the moment) Canada and Turkey. So, we get quite a few chances to travel abroad and take the opportunity whenever we can. We will be spending Christmas this year with our Daughter in Canada (heres hoping it will be white) and with luck our son will be able to join us too. At the moment we are also trying to plan a global trip to incorporate seeing them all in a couple of years time. I think we shall have to start saving very hard.

Enough of me fantasising about global travel, where am I going to take you all this week? A wild goose chase maybe.

As for the everyday running of MM, I have once again followed MM convention on word length. Each of my chosen link words contains at least four letters and at most eight letters. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one of your attempts!

Each link word may go in front of, or behind, my chosen word! The competition will officially close on Sunday Evening at 7.00pm, when crofter will declare my selected words and then apply the same rules for awarding points that have been applied during all MM Link Games in the past.

My fifth and final set of four words to have their links predicted should appear below at 9.00am.
Forms of travel would be too obvious wouldn't it?!
All over the world..N E W S hmmm!...but then again there's the Yacht race ..Isle of Wight...you can never tell with Jools!
Hope you had a lovely holiday though!...see you soon!
