Sausage And Potato Bake

If your cupboards are looking bare and you need to throw something together at the last minute, this is a perfect recipe; all you need are some potatoes and sausages, everything else can be changed or left out to suit your tastes or to suit what is ready at hand.

Sausage and potato bake is a quick easy meal that takes less than 45 minutes to cook; all you need to do is put evening thing in a baking dish and stir it occasionally. Sausage and potato bake will soon become a family favourite; it is very satisfying, guaranteed to fill up a very hungry family of four plus some guests.  This is a dish children love; sausages are always a hit with children. The potatoes are slightly crispy on the outside and will go down very well with children and adults.

This delicious hearty meal is cooked in one dish so you even save time on the washing up.

Ingredients

  • 12 Cumberland sausages
  • 500g potatoes, chopped
  • 4 red onions, quartered
  • 1 red pepper, deseeded and sliced
  • 2 sprigs of rosemary
  • 2 sprigs of thyme
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Method

  1. Add all the ingredients to a baking dish and drizzle olive oil on top.
  2. Bake in an oven at 190C for 30 - 40 minutes, turning occasionally, until potatoes are tender and sausages are cooked.
