you can substitute the Irish whisky with any scotch, cheaper the better, makes no difference, still great, or brandy!...................tastes great, you'll never buy baileys again, this recipe makes 3 and 3/4 bottles!............worth a look!.............

It's creamy Naz, can't deny it, but it's just so smooth, and has such a kick!..we have a party on Boxing night, all of our friends come around just to sample this drink!............it's lovely!..................

That seems a rather odd amount of chocolate - Why the extra 3/4 ounces?
Very similar to a recipe we use, its great, a bottle of "Baileys" ready in half an hour:-)

gen, if you covert on the site to metric, it's 2 125g bars of chocolate, galaxy was on offer in my local supermarket, so I used that, but any chocolate is fine!...........

Pinki, I must admit that we do struggle, but we try our best, and if we weaken, then we have nearly 4 bottles!.......can always make more, ready to drink straight away, but best kept for up to a month!...................lol.........

I'd be worried about the cream staying fresh for a month, even in the fridge, wouldn't it start to taste a bit off despite the alcohol?

You won't be dissapointed pinki, it's well worth it!...........it's lush!......let me know what you think, don't drink it all before Xmas!.......Oh and when in the recipe it says 'heavy cream' then it's double cream, it says 590mls, our cartons have 600mls in the large one, I just put it all in there!........what's 10mls!.........nothing!.......throw it in!........lol........
