weekend and to thank them (On behalf of my brother and sis in law and mom and dad) I'm doing them:
Starters: Kofta kebabs, chicken tikka with yoghurt and cucumber raita, onion bhajis, pakoras, samosas (both veg and lamb and peas) popadums with pickles

Mains Chicken Bhuna, Beef Madras, Lamb Balti, And King Prawn Biryani with vegetable curry, tarka dhal, pilau rice and naan breads.
For Grigor, Erkan and Sotia who don't like spicy food there's either roast chicken or Deep fried beer battered cod and chips with pes or salad

4 chhese pizza, veggie burgers or mushroom risotto for vegetarians

Puds are Poached pears with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce, or apple and blackberry pie.

I've never met a bunch of nice people who like cakes and tray bakes more than these pickers!!
Today they have :
Caramel and chocolate covered shortcake
Fruity flapjacks with semi dried cranberries, cherries and walnuts
Sultana and lemon cake
Raspberry and coconut madelaines
3 fruit marmalade cake
Apricot and almond tray bake
Fresh cream strawberry boats, and plain and fruited scones.

So much for me taking a rest!!

Lovely!! there's absolutely nothing like fruit and veg straight out of the garden! Sunday morning last week saw me pulling up carrots and parsnips, I cut a cabbage and a cauli, cut broccoli and dug some new potatoes - out of this world with freshness and sweetness!! it'll be picked for me this week!!
and chance of some dahl and roti?

What do you think Lamb tika would be like
I don't eat chicken for cultural reasons
Question Author
Lamb tikka is lovely - I make it all the time, just cut into bite sized pieces and marinate in the yoghurt and spices
