Pushing it mandi, you should have frozen it till needed
When I was 8 my Mum won a massive turkey in a Christmas draw. We started on it on Christmas Day and we were still eating it on New Year's Day, without any ill effects - and we didn't even have a fridge!

The cooked meats you can buy in the supermarket usually have several days before the 'use by' date runs out. I can see no reason why cooking the meat yourself should reduce that period.

If you don't want it, send it round here - I'm feeling peckish!
should I google chorizo or will someone explain?
Spanish and sausage don't compute
Oh come on, Dot.

I'll bet that, when you've been on holiday in Spain, there have been lots of waiters who've offered to play 'hunt the sausage' with you ;-)
ahem, where have you heard that Chris? lol that was 1974 at the Hotel Rocca in benalmadena!!
and he wasn't a waiter he was the reseption clerk, my friend maureen picked the waiter
I'm not shocked that you copped of with 'staff' Dot. But I am shocked you've not heard of chorizo ;-)
Does it smell ok? do you have a cat, if they are happy to eat a bit of the turkey it is probably ok, just make sure it is really well reheated as hot as you can get it without burning it Depends as well on how cold your fridge is..
It sounds like a fab meal, do you mind sharing the recipe please?
