I make a chilli sauce with a tin of chopped tomatoes, fresh chopped chillis to your taste (including seeds), onions and red peppers. Simmer in a saucepan for about 25 mins. If it is too hot add some sugar a spoonful at a time and this will bring the heat down. Stop with the sugar when it's the right heat for you.
I came across these sauces in asda - Holy Cow. I saw a garlic, lime and mint one. i tried it in pasta (which tasted really good), and would imagine they'd go really well with kebabs.
It says on the bottle you can use them as a dip, marinade, and cooking ingredient. they're hot! and were reasonably priced.
