Why do biscuits taste a hundred times better after they have been dunked?

I personally have a ones that I prefer with tea and others for coffee. A penguin has to be my xmas dunking treat though!

i have enjoyed that site so much I have bothered to rate you!!
What a fantastic website! Thank you goodsoulette...you certainly are!

Thanks Steve - just saved that to peruse later.

Nought wrong with dunking!

Just found this on Biscuit Dunking too!

i think that malted milk are the best biscuits to dunk ,when they are dry, they don't have a taste ,but dunk them and they are really yummy, full of flavour !!
Mmmm - I agree with you Glenis - ginger biscuits too!
Have you tried Tim Tams from Australia? You can get them in tesco. You bite off a corner, then the opposite and use it to suck your tea though until you feel it touch your lips, then you shove it in your mouth before it melts! They are so lush! You can do it with penguins as well although they aren't quite as good!
snappy, thats great with a penguin when you suck through it....but try it with a rocky and you will never go back to anything else, can be messy but not if you are quick enough to put it in your mouth!!!!!!!!!

I just bet my workmate a pound that smudge would be on this thread.

The coin has gone in the charity box. Thank you smudge!

Like the others - common as muck me - I like dunking & very proud of it too!

Glad I made you a 1 richer gastwo - the name sounds very familiar indeed - live by the sea by any chance?

Hi smudge. Live by it (Pembrokeshire) and work on it (Irish Sea). Dont think we've met though!

Shaun.

You're not who I thought you were then shaun-gastwo!

Incidentally, what made you bet your workmate a 1 that I'd post on here then - just wondering?

Hi smudge. scooby and I have been ABers for 18 months or so, and have become fans of your posts...We have side bets on which threads regular ABers will show up on!

BTW, my roots are Essex - thats your patch, isnt it?

Thanks gastwo - nice to have fans around!

Yes, I was born in Islington, then moved to Dagenham (now the pits), aged 1 year & lived there until after our marriage, then moved into our first new home in Bedfordshire.

My siblings live in Barking, Romford, Hornchurch & Brentwood. Where do you live?

Apologies for taking space up on your thread Goodsy.

Yes, sorry, Goodsy!

Smudge, we must stop meeting like this! I was born in Romford road West Ham, in the middle of the blitz. We got bombed out & moved to Chadwell Heath.

Lived in Pembrokeshire for the last 50 years though, and dont want to leave!

Sorry again Goodsy.

I missed the war (born 1947). But I've heard so many stories about those days from my Mum, Dad & elder siblings. It all sounded so sosy down in the air raid shelters & tube stations, but I bet they didn't think so at the time!

*cosy - it's me age!
Question Author
I dont care at all. Smudge you are way older than i thought.. You have a very young outlook on life.

Thank you Goodsy, appreciate your patience.

Yes, I do have a very young outlook on life - probably because I got married & had our first baby at nearly 18! Our two daughters have kept us both very young at heart & people tell us that we both look young for our ages. Not blowing any trumpets, it's just what people tell us! It's great to be taken for the parents of our Granadchildren too - what fun!
