Hi I am busy making Chioux buns but think they won't turn out well.Yesterday they were flat maybe because I greased the tray with light oil? The ones I am making now I have also oiled the tin.Should the tons be greased with butter as the buns are all flat. Not a happy Bunny.!

Did they come out of the oven flat?
If they were well risen did you put them on a rack and prick a hole in the top of them?

They came out of the oven flat.!
Greasing the tray shouldn't cause that. Was the oven hot enough before you put them in? Did you keep the door shut for the whole cooking time?

Actually, I don't know why I'm trying to help as all my attempts to cook choux pastry have been rubbish
