Does anyone know where,over here,you can get authentic american lemonade,that is only very lightly carbonated?

Do you have Superquinn up the North Linda as I was in it yesterday near where I live and saw old fashioned lemonade in old fashioned bottles and looked like the type that would be sold on the sidewalk in America.

No we don't peri,but my sister will be down in sligo next week,so i'll get her to take a look,thanks! My neice is just back from n.y.and really loved the lemonade they sold.

i suppose if you want a drink whilst watching Top Cat and rowing with hubby over the 17 million repeats of James Bond on TV a nice refreshing drink is welcome.

Authentic American lemonade has NO carbonation.  It is made with plain water, ice, lemons and sugar.  For the not-so-ambitious among us, we use the pre-mixed lemonade powder (Kool-Aid, Country Time, Crystal Light, etc) with water.  But no bubbles!

Ward-minter,you are a droll little soul!! It did not go un-noticed that there was another one of those infernal things on yesterday AGAIN! My neice was as horrified as me,cos she had to endure that very one twice last week,in N.Y.,cos they play them twice a day,once in ordinary screen,and later on in widescreen! The mind boggles! Great site thanks! My neice used to live in worthing,so she actually knew the laines quite well.Thanks as well Ouisch,hopefully we'll be able to get some kool aid ordered now! Cheers!
