This evening we are having a savoury turkey crumble made with the frozen leftover turkey, leek and chestnut filling from last Christmas topped with a freshly made crumble with Parmesan, nuts, oats and spices in it, accompanied by sprouts and sweet spicy roasted carrots.
This is in effect our Christmas dinner this year as we jet off on Sunday to somewhere where turkey and sprouts will definitely not be on the menu on Christmas day, in fact Christmas day might just pass us by unnoticed with any luck, in an alcoholic cocktail haze :)
Anyone else avoiding Christmas this year?

Yes Ann, and the chestnuts, leeks and cream sauce which are some of the other items in the frozen filling, I don't believe in sell by/eat by dates, or wasting perfectly edible food.
Boxy, I'm really looking forward to it, it smells lovely. I hope you enjoy your Christmas dinner with nibble on the day.
Fruity, I'll do my best ;)
eth, your meal sounds lovely, I just wondered about freezing something for a year.
