can someone please help! My mother in law is coming over from argentina and I would like her to sample some of our traditional English fare, ie, yorkshire puds. Can anyone recommend a recipe and method of preparartion. Cheers, p.s has anyone ever eaten a mixture of lettuce, onion, salad cream and vinegar with y puds? its great!!!

Ibrought a golden fry yorkshire pudding mix,And its brill.Only 40p.
Marks and Spencers 4 Beef Dripping Yorkshire Puddings at �1.19. It's not worth the hassle of weighing, beating, whisking only to find they've not risen!
its the same recipe used for pancake batter
Aunt Bessie makes wonderful York puds - easily as good as any I ate as a child in N yorks.
if you make from scratch use a little veg oil in tin and  make sure the tins are as HOT as possible ideally

thanks all for your advise. I made them from scratch and they went down a treat. I tried twice and michmum was right! they came out better from a v hot tin. Cheers
