Anything you would do with beef mince, you can do with turkey mince.
I would feed it to the cat. Mince is beef, simples. Any other form of minced meat is an abomination.

Sorry mike disagree, like lamb mince for shepherds pie and moussaka, like pork mince for meatballs...
Poodicat, I tried it once and made a lasagne, which I promptly threw in the bin. It was disgusting. Horrible, horrible stuff.

So the best thing to do with it is feed it to the cat (who will probably hate it) or give it to someone you dislike!"!
Pork mince, I would agree, is by far the best for meatballs, but nothing else. As yes lamb mince for moussaka.

Let me think lottie?
LOL Lottie. Not often I find an ally on here.

Dont think the cat would entertain it...
Mine would, send it over!
step away from the keyboard now poodi
What made you buy it Poodi. I first bought it after Mr LL had to cut back on red meat. He hated it too. It didn't even remotely taste of turkey (which I don't like anyway). It had a strong taste of ground cardboard and sawdust, even though I make a lasagne packed with garlic, onions, herbs etc.

"it was on offer at the co-op"

How low can you sink?
Rissoles. (well, that's what I'd do)
Not surprised it was on offer - they probably can't sell the stuff
Aw come on mike - we all have a budget to follow and until we have tried something we will never know will we? Evening poodi ;o)

Hi boxy - my dad used to make turkey rissoles - that has brought back some memories. It was a receipt he was taught when he had his first job as a very young boy working in a hotel.
