 hi guys, im doing a little project for work on why glasses are made in different shapes to acheive a better taste, does anybody know if theres any website I can look it up on as ive not had much luck finding anything, or if you can give me any info that may help me, which I will be ever so grateful for thanks.

The Austrian company Riedel make wine glasses to match different grape varieties taste profiles. They are considered to be the best glasses for wine. See www.reidel.com

I know that Champagne flutes are fluted so the bubbles don't fizzle out quickly thus keeping the champagne sparkling for longer.

White wine is best drank from crystal glasses as they keep the wine colder for longer.

I am sure there are more reasons about shapes, but this is all I know for now.
