Can I freeze homemade bread dough?

I want to make some foccacia bread dough and want to know if I can freeze it so I can just bake in a hurry when I need to. Also, will I need to defrost before baking? Thanks!

yep just defrost it properly

Yes you can. I've frozen, bread dough, cake batter, pastry dough and the finished product always came out perfectly when used / baked.
