Pigeon pie??

I bought a pigeon and am not sure what it will taste like or how to cook it - can you roast it (looks just like a wee chicken), or does it taste better cooked some other way?

pigeons are quite dry and I understand better casseroled than roasted. If you google on "pigeon recipes" you should find loads

Watch out for Lead Shot when you bite into it. Can have your fillings out if your'e not careful.

Thanks for the recipes, I ended up making a casserole with bacon and port gravy last night, it was really tasty!
