All sounds nice. I gotta make a request for hubby and son. Its a bit chavvy, and as its fried they only get it once a month. Home made battered sausages, chips, curry sauce and /or mushy peas, bread and butter. I won't eat it as it's too fattening, but they love it. Don't know what I'll have, not much in as it's shopping day tomorrow.
Sounds quite appealing, WB ... (but without the curry sauce)

Mick-Talbot, you got me thinking about roast dinners now!!! I wish, but not tonight.
Too hot to eat really...

Maybe a king prawn byriani with some aloo gobi and a nan bread. And pilau rice and a couple of onion bhaji. Oh and a few poppadoms. Maybe some Dhal too...

Joggerjayne, the curry sauce is the teenagers request, its a chip shop mix from tesco. How sophisticated !!

I can confidently say that I have never had chip shop curry sauce ...

... and have no intention of ever doing so.

pork live pate with calvados and melba toasts,

lamb kebabs with flat bread ad salad

trio of sorbets, mango and passionfruit, lemon and lime, and blackcurrant
1 glass of chilled rose wine

Coffee
Don't worry I'll have pizza later haha
Battered sausages? yuk

They serve them in my local chippie, battered deep fried mars bars too

Basically if it moves they batter it and fry it
I've just had chicken jalfrezi and bombay potatoes - surprisingly easy once you buy all the spices (I'm using frozen mixed peppers, ginger, garlic and green chilli 'cause they are always there and nothing ever goes off waiting to be used)
