> i meant that cows should be giving grass instead of corn

Wow! I see what you mean now. Genetically modifying cows to the extent that they give grass is probably a bad idea...
Question Author
lets just say there are more sources on the internet against gm and food companies being really powerful ,then good so you decide, i sure have and i wont change my mind
I agree with you. In an ideal world our food should be organic. In reality it's too expensive for the average family.

I though GM was banned here?

Maybe I need to do my research..!!
So far a quick search and it was still banned in Sep 09.
Question Author
watch food inc then you will know , if you watch it and still dont belive it then fine but dont talk to me about facts, cows are kept not in farms there kept in fields covered in the own poo up to there knees , along with feeing them corn causes consequences
Question Author
didnt even bother to see that i corrected myself straight after what i said .That i meant grass instead of corn , how silly of you, well as i said it would ofput people like you
Who's that aimed at?

If you're so passionate about it can you tell me if it's still banned in the UK?
Question Author
its banned from supermarkers own brands buy not other brands such a hellmanns and pringles
Don't believe all you see in a film. I saw a film called Speed but I still take the bus to work.
Righteo....
Question Author
this film is a documentry , some things cant be proved 100% , but most of it you can clearly see is fact
But by the sound of it, it is a very one-sided view. When you said you had researched it, I didn't think you meant you just watched a film by the anti-GM brigade.
Didn't you...?
Question Author
im just saying the movie because its the source that you cal relate to the most , also just type in the internet anything ive said and there are loads of sites and sources
Mark stop it please, you're making me laugh too much
But what did you research to find out the pro side of GM food? I could make a movie about how bad eating bread is but until you hear a balanced argument, you shouldn't make up your mind. I dare say the movie maker had something to gain from bad mouthing GM, even if it was just his 15 minutes of fame.
Personally I think GM is being used for the wrong reasons.

It has the capability to increase food production in areas of Land where it is dearly needed

Seems no profit in that

Seems to me that the money is in crops that have longer shelf life and are in other ways more profitable for the likes of Tesco and Sainsburys.

The consumer is asked to bear the risks of GM and not receive the benefits.

Anyway I believe GM foods haven't yet been licensed in the UK for direct consumers (or am I behind the times?) However GM feed stocks for animal fodder is allowed.
I thought the same Jake...
Question Author
i have heard a balanced argument about gm's and there are more faults then benefits, you shouldnt be saying that seeing as youve done no research or watched any films where as i have done both so im more inclined to have a opinion on it
