Just gone three, time for a nice cuppa and buttered scone anyone? - Or a piece of just-cooled chocolate fudge cake?

Lovely mercia ! What type of Tea do you usually use, as at present I am using Assam produced by Thompsons....

Well, I don't like strong tea, it makes my mouth dry, which kinda defeats the object, I quite like Twinings varieties, i like chinese green tea and black jasmine tea is nice in the afternoon, I put the lid on the teapot at a slant so to get the aroma. When I was little my mum used to buy Hornimans tea in a yellow packet with a boat stamp on the back.
Yes Twinings make a really nice range of Teas mercia including Earl Grey but I wouldn't fancy drinking it as an everyday Tea. I do like fairly strong teas and drink more of it than Coffee....
