Walnut bread?

Just heard about this on "Come dine with me" has anyone tasted this, Homemade or shop brought, and wouldn't adding sugar turn the bread into walnut cake?

The joy of bread is that you can throw anything you want into it. And sugar is almost always in bread...it helps the yeast to grow..

Lol, I've never made a loaf before, wouldn't the machine cut prep time and make my life easier?

The bread machine is magic I made a pasta base and it was great cuts out so much preperation time

Think we spoke about bread once before when I was enjoying some home made bread with a veggie soup made from veg of my allotment I love my bread machine

Waitrose used to do a delicious Walnut Bread.
No,adding sugar wouldn't turn it into cake,just as adding sugar to white bread wouldn't turn it into cake either.
You sure have a funny idea about bread(and how it's made) I think.
