Does the lack of effort go by the wayside as you get older with your partner,some of the young girls are inundated by their boyfriends,with humongous valentine cards,cuddly toys,sexy underwear choccies and weekends away to paris and alike,saying that saw a elderly gentleman clutching a beautiful bunch of red roses that he had just bought for his wife perhaps?

When you're older you realise what a load of rubbish the actual day is! Younger people probably celebrate it more, when you're older you just enjoy spending time with the person you're with. If you need a day to express how much you like the othe person as opposed to doing it the other 364 days of the year then that's a bit odd and the older you are the more you appreciate that I think.

seeing him tomorrow so going to have a look around glasgow on the way ,it's his birthday too ,so his present for that is hiding under his bed ,just hope he doesn't come up tonight or he wont have anything lol ,i was woke up this morning with a boquet of flowers being delivered sooo sweet (not sure what to do with them till wednesday when i am back though)
