Hi - i went to sign on yesterday as normal (i receive JSA) and did the usual and left - this morning i receive a letter from the job centre asking me to attend an AD HOC interview which is to last 30 minutes and is on the day when i next sign (in 2 weeks) i am just curious as to what it is? As normaly when they require you for your 13 week reveiw they tell you whilst you are signing and give you a letter to remind you? Its never said Ad hoc though?
thanks in advance

Nothing to worry about is there? They may just be targeting certain people that they think they can help.

yeah i thought that - but just didnt understand the ad hoc thing? but thanks x
Ad hoc just means "not regular". It's just a one off kind of thing.
Ad hoc meetings are nothing to worry about, if you are on benefits like JSA then you will have them every few months. It is merely to check that you are doing what you are supposed to and whether there are any other avenues they can take you down! Hope it goes well.....
