I've had some in broccoli my fridge for a few days and it is starting to turn a funny shade of beige. Would it be safe to eat it tonight, or should I err on the side of caution and throw it away?

Probably safe once it is boiled, but I doubt it will taste all that good.

Thanks Rollo. I hate wasting food but perhaps I'll chuck it out.
If it only just changing colour on top of the florets. I would suggest boiling it with some cauliflower and make a broccoli and cauliflower cheese.
mrsC mrs sqad says "chuck it out".......Why? you ask, cus mrs sqad says that once you start to boil it, the whole house will smell of dirty cabbage water.

Good luck
I've eaten it when the tips have turned brown and it tastes just fine.

Thanks all. I had it tonight with my Spanish stew and it tasted okay.

If I'm not around for the next few days, you'll know why. [:o)
As long as it wasn't slimey-you'll be fine....;-0
