Specifically beers or lagers and ales too? Either way, my favourite commercial beer is John Smith's followed by Caffrey's. If we're allowed to include lagers, I am quite partial to a nice Kronenbourg. And I guess whilst on the subject of lagers, the odd bottle of Bud goes down nicely if I'm in a rush.

oh the whole family are welcome, beer, ale, lager, porter too if that's your tipple.

I don't drink very much - but on our hot summers evenings, an ice cold lager & lime goes down a treat. Apart from that I Iike brandy & lemonade - but then that's not beer!
I like Carlsberg Export and Kronenbourg and I love bottled/ draught Becks, although mostly I drink vodka and soda as you don't get so bloated.
Oakham's 'JHB', Timothy Taylor's 'Landlord' or Deuchar's 'IPA' are all superb. They're real ales, of course, so you won't find them just anywhere, but they do appear in Wetherspoon's etc occasionally. (Indeed, they're about the only reason I can think of for even going into a Wetherspoon's!)
You're due a Deuchar's, Quizmonster...
Isn't it Greene King IPA now?  My grandad drinks or that stuff Spitfire, Bishops Finger, Old Speckled Hen, etc.....  I don't mind Morland Original but given the choice would drink something else.
probably Stella Artois. Yum!
I'll drink to that, Indie! Cheers

stella is number 1 and number 2 would be kronenbourg

Stroh's, Labatt's Blue, Brador.

Number one is definitely  Kronenbourg, but we seem to get through a few little 'stubbies' .

The present favourite is Saint-Omer.

No1, Ringwood 49er

No2, Jennings Bitter

all good answers, thanks.  my favs are Black Sheep Ale, Fullers London Pride, Deuchars, Nasto Azurri, Cruzcampo, and original Guinness.

IPA's can be made by any brewery, it stands for India Pale Ale.  all are refreshing and light.

Tend to drink the same as QM, but recently found Honey Dew Organic Ale, which is really nice. Since I started on the bottled ales, I find it almost impossible to go back to canned lagers as they all taste so chemical now.

Caffreys.

They have recently opened a Real Ale shop at one of the farms near to where I live in Norfolk.  It only supplies ale brewed from small local breweries that are supplied with grain from selected Norfolk farms.  I daren't go there very often, even though it's only 6 miles away. I end up spending a small fortune. The beers are fantastic and they have a fantastic range. My favourite is a beer called Norfolk Gold, brewed by the Iceni Brewery, near Swaffham.  It smells and tastes just like the beer I remember back in the dark ages.  All their beers come complete with sediment in the bottom of the bottle.

The testers in most microbreweries, Black Sheep, (the original) Boddingtons, Robinsons Best, Spitfire, Murphys, Sam Adams.  The best on a hot day has to be Bir Laos, made in the traditional clay pots
Czech Bud, Becks and Krony, probably in that order too.
