hi
does anyone know what i can use to remove black marks from UPVC window frames. i've moved into a rented flat and the bathroom window has black mould like stains along the frames. i've tried scrubbing it but it looks like it has been there for years and is not shifting. Has anyone had any success in removing this kind of stain before?

cellulose thinners, available from car accessory shop,

but don't smoke whilst youre using it,
Hi rattylucy, you could also try your nearest DIY superstore. They usually sell a UPVC cleaner which will remove nearly all stains off upvc frames. It has always removed stains from my window frames in the past.
Undiluted bleach got rid of the black mould that was on the white sealant round our bath. Obviously, as with all trials of stain removers, try a small area first, and make sure it does no damage to the UPVC.
