It makes ones pee smell slightly of burnt rubber? Anyone know why this is?

I don't know about asparagus, but, speaking for myself,  sundried tomatoes when used in a risotto have a very similar effect....wierd....

Must tell you I had asparagus during a meal at my sister in laws on the weekend, and shortly afterwards noticed the odor described - thinking about it, i then realised that there is asparagus in the risotto that i make, so i've been blaming the sundried tomatoes for all these months.......!!  You learn something new..........  Think that we must be special people, sarwal!!  xx  Thanks for the link stoo_pid.
