Does anyone know if any supermarkets stock smoked pimento (powder)? I've looked locally and can't find it.

Is it the same as smoked paprika? getting muddled with these holidays! if so most places stock it

Sainsbury's definitely do it.....as do a lot of deli's and ethnic food shops

I can buy powdered pimento or pimento cornsm but I must confess I've never heard of smoked pimento.

The powdered pimento I buy looks like ground black pepper.

Try Tesco's own "ingredients" range. I got some from there.

It's in the " Taste the Difference" deli section at Sainsbury's in a very pretty dark red tin.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I don't have a local Sainsburys so I'll search one out. I'll look at Tesco again, they keep moving things to keep us on our toes!
