I have developed a headache but have no painkillers as I don't like taking them. I may need to go into a darkened room and rest my eyes.

awhh tiggs.. don't you have any Tiger Balm, or Forehead/Vicks type of stuff? a little bit on your forehead can ward of a big headache, but you have to catch it early.

I've been drinking water all day. a whole litre in fact. I'm trying to massage my temples at them moment whilst typing.

I don't think I've ever had migraine before. My mum gets it quite often and it makes her sick. She has to go to bed with a bucket near the bed.

soak a flannel in vinegar wring it out and apply the flannel on your forehead (old wifes tale) i suffer with migraines and it works for me. doesnt have to be flannel you could use a cloth of some sorts.
