i have some paella rice and would like to have a go for mothers day lunch.
I've googled but there's thousands !

Has anyone got a foolproof method?

Should it be meat and fish or one or the other?

whenever Ive eaten it its both meat and fish

The meat being - salami type sausage - maybe ham and chicken pieces
The fish - shellfish like mussles etc and prawns

And thats what a really want to eat!!!!

But sorry I dont have a recipe but may have to go googling tonight for one

Good luck with it and enjoy
I don't have a recipe either but I always thought it was made with seafood? Mussels, prawns and calamari etc.
Take it from someone who's been raised somewhere very near Spain. A paella can contain a mixture of seafood and meat or just meat or seafood on its own. There is also the vegetarian paella and the black paella made from squid ink.
probably too late for mothers day but I live in spain and have got a great recipe if you want me to post it!
