Opened my sack of Marfona potatoes yesterday and although looking ok on the outside, when I peeled them, the usually pale yellow flesh inside in virtually all of them had partially turned black. I thought it could be frost damage but they haven't actually been directly exposed to any frost.

Any ideas?

sounds like frost to me
Yes! definately the frost has got to them! maybe it happened before you bought them, it takes a while for them to show the damage, but it must be frost damage!
