Microwaving a ham?

Can anyone advise how to cook a ham in a microwave please? I remember doing it once when I first got a microwave years and years ago but don't remember how. I do remember that it took a very long time (maybe an hour or two) so I'm wondering whether microwaves used to have 'lower' power settings?
Any advise on how to do it though would be great.
