I like real bananas, but hate anything so-called banana flavour. Has anyone ever eaten anything 'banana flavour' that actually tastes like real banana? Or am I totally bananas?

LOL-I am with you on this one,Jock......phoney banana has to be the most vile of phoney flavours. And-no...I have yet to taste a 'good' one...I just steer clear away!!
ive just got back from madiera and they had bananas that actually tasted of bananas the ones we get in the shops here nowadays dont taste like real banana flavour at all. they were so sweet and tasted wonderful. apparently they have a problem now they are within the eu in that the bananas wont grow big enough - how stupid is that, if they are small bananas we well have to buy small bananas and enjoy a much better flavour too.
I have to say, Jock, I'm just the same with oranges and strawberries. fruit yes, anything else... no!
the worst was those hedgehog flavoured crisps! i gave it to several tramps to taste........and they all agreed.................nothing at all like the real crunchy outer and soggy innerds of a real hedgehog!
Heya,

I'm completely the opposite! I love banana flavoured things, but I really don't like bananas!
Banana milkshake is great, used to have the powder on top of coco pops when I was younger!
