Hi..been away for the weekend to Southport and had the most wonderful camembert cheese baked in its box with rosemary and honey...delicious!! Never had baked cheese before and wondered if anyone has any quick recipes for me to try and also if anyone knows how long to bake the cheese for..oh,I'm not too keen on garlic,so ideas without that in would be even better..Thanks..footymum

Traditionally, the camembert is removed from its box, all the wrappings and labels taken off, then it's carefully placed back in the box (or in an ovenproof dish), with thin slivers of garlic and springs of thyme poked into it, the lid or some covering placed back on top of the box, then it's heated through in the oven for just 5 to 10 minutes until the cheese has melted.

Here's an unusual way of serving it that doesn't use garlic though:-

Baked brie or vacherin is also lovely and all 3 cheeses are pretty interchangeable in most recipes
Deep fried brie ( in breadcrumbs) served with a cranberry or gosseberry sauce is to die for
