Watching Masterchef The Professionals while having good old fashioned home made chips and battered fish, they were cooking pan fried wood pigeon, what a turn off! Notice how they "doctor" up many basic dishes and ingredients all in the name of posh food!

Give me cod, chips mushy peas, 2 pickles onions, a pickled egg and a pile of bread and butter ANYDAY over some small little pigeon which probably has less meat on it than a butchers bleeding pencil!!!
