Low Fat or Low Sugar??

Is it better to get foods that are low fat (but high in sugar) or foods that are low sugar (but high in fat)???? Or does it make a difference???

I'd say the low fat ones are better because higher fat has a proven link with heart disease whereas sugar doesn't. Also, weight for weight, fat has way more calories than sugar and takes less calories to digest so you're more likely to put on weight if you pick the higher fat version.
It makes a difference if you're diabetic!
