I have always wondered how M&M candies are made. I just cannot seem to wrap my brain around how they get them to be that shape without any edges or markings. Do they float in anti-gravity until they candy coating dries? Can anyone help me?

sorry, without facts, it's just my opinion. setting up an anti gravity facility would cost a lot of money for M&M's....I can still find some of bad shaped one prove that they have dried in gravity conditions, all I can think about is slipperly coated metal plates, must be very cold... this would be the secret method like how coka cola, mixed up ? maybe.
